OASIS organizes first annual etiquette dinner
Published Apr 23, 2012Over 80 students, staff and faculty attended the first annual etiquette dinner hosted by the Office of Academic Supplemental Instruction Services (OASIS).
The event was created to allow students to polish their business etiquette skills in a formal setting during a five-course dinner at the Torch Hotel. Student tutors enacted skits, which served as a basis for discussions. Local industry professionals provided insights into business situations and tips on attending business events and participated in a panel discussion following dinner. The OASIS plans to host a second etiquette dinner in spring 2013.
