RDP awards travel grants to Texas A&M at Qatar researchers

Three Texas A&M at Qatar researchers have been awarded travel grants to showcase their research through the Research Excellence Travel Grant Program. Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar, Zisis Vryzas and Agni Kalyva are this quarter’s recipients of $1,200 travel grants.

Rajakumar is a research associate in the Liberal Arts Program working with Dr. Trinidad Rico. She will present at the Middle East and North Africa Writing Centers Alliance in Muscat, Oman 21-22 April.

Vryzas is a research associate in the Petroleum Engineering Program working with Dr. Mike Bowman. He will present at the International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering in Busan, South Korea 19-24 June.

Kalyva is a research assistant in the Chemical Engineering Program working with Dr. Konstantinos Kakosimos. She will present at the International Conference on Hydrogen Production in Hangzhou, China 8-11 May.

The travel grants are an initiative of the Researcher Development Program that provides financial support to cover conference-related travel and expenses every quarter.
