Raghavachari to give keynote at chemistry conference
Published Jan 19, 2011Texas A&M at Qatar this week will host chemistry scholars from several countries for the QAFCO-Texas A&M at Qatar Chemistry Conference 2011.
Sponsored by Qatar Fertiliser Company, the conference will convene Thursday, 20 Jan., in the Texas A&M Engineering Building. Dr. Krishnan Raghavachari, professor of Chemistry at Indiana University, will deliver the keynote address, "Accurate Electronic Structure Methods for Small, Medium and Large Molecules." The keynote address will focus on the advancements of electronic structure theory over the last 20 years due to methodological improvements and increase in available computational power.
