Rico publishes book on heritage narratives and is elected to executive committee of heritage studies

Dr. Trinidad Rico, assistant professor in the Liberal Arts Program, published a book, Constructing Deconstruction: Heritage Narratives in the Tsunami City. In it, she analyzes heritage practices in Banda Aceh, Indonesia in the aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. In addition, Rico was recently elected to the executive committee of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies, which aims to promote the interdisciplinary field of heritage studies.
