SAE hosts video seminar to learn about race car design and build
Published Nov 03, 2016The student chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) at Texas A&M at Qatar hosted a video seminar with its main campus counterparts 19 Oct. to learn about the Formula SAE Series in which college teams develop and construct a single-seat race car. The cars are judged on design, construction, performance and cost. The video conference was attended by interested students across all majors, SAE adviser Dr. Reza Tafreshi and program chair of the Mechanical Engineering Program Dr. Vijay Panchang.
