Senior chemical engineering students visit Q-Chem
Published Mar 22, 2010Dr. Ahmed Abdel-Wahab, associate professor of chemical engineering, and Ahmed Khodary, teaching associate, accompanied senior chemical engineering students for a tour of the Q-Chem petrochemical plant in Mesaieed Industrial City on 15 March.
Mr. Ahmed Homssi, head of Q-Chem environmental section, gave an overview of the environmental management system. Students toured the plant's water and wastewater systems, cooling water system, air quality management systems and other processes in the plant.
