Sophomore chemical engineering students visit plant
Published Nov 23, 2009Dr. Ghada Salama, chemical engineering lecturer, and sophomore chemical engineering students on 11 Nov. participated in a field trip to Qatar National Cement Company at Umm Bab.
Students were able to see different aspects of the manufacturing process of Portland cement. Students also were able to get a look at the rotary kiln, which is the largest moving equipment in any manufacturing operation.
