Symposium to honor Grubbs appointment
Published Sep 17, 2012The Science Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar and the Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M University will host, on 27 Sept., a symposium titled "Strategy and Design in Transition Metal-Catalyzed Reactions" in honor of Professor Robert H. Grubbs, Victor and Elizabeth Atkins Professor of Chemistry, California Institute of Technology and Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2005.
The symposium is being hosted in College Station,Texas on the occasion of Professor Grubbs becoming an adjunct professor at Texas A&M University at Qatar and holding the Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) Chair of Polymer Science and Engineering. Delegations from Texas A&M at Qatar and QAPCO will be in attendance.
