Texas A&M at Qatar awarded right to co-host PPEPPD conference
Published Jun 02, 2016Texas A&M at Qatar, in conjunction with Qatar University and the Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi, has been awarded the right to co-host the 16th International Conference on Properties and Phase Equilibria for Product and Process Design (PPEPPD) in 2022. PPEPPD is the premier conference on the applications of thermodynamics to chemical process and product design. This will mark the first time the conference will be in the Middle East. Chemical engineering professors Dr. Marcelo Castier, Dr. Ioannis Economou, adjunct professor Dr. Mert Altihan and program chair Dr. Patrick Linke were key figures in securing Texas A&M at Qatar's bid.
