Texas A&M at Qatar signs MOU with Shell

Texas A&M at Qatar, on 11 January, signed an MOU with Shell for a project in which students will build a GTL-powered car which will compete in the Shell Eco-Marathon Europe in May.

The project, led by Dr. Andrew Conkey, assistant professor of mechanical engineering, will include 19 Aggies from the mechanical and engineering programs. The Aggie car will be the first GCC Urban Vehicle Concept submission that uses GTL fuel. For information contact Dr. Andrew Conkey: andrew.conkey@qatar.tamu.edu.
