Texas Tech professor speaks on research failures
Published Apr 15, 2014Dr. Rebecca Rickly gave a talk, "Failing Forward: Learning from Research Failures," 15 April on campus. Rickly's talk, part of the Liberal Arts Guest Speaker Series, offered a series of narrative failures undergirding complete, published research that shed light on the understanding, teaching and representation of research. These stories provided a lens that faculty might use to plan, conduct, represent and critique research, and how to integrate failure into the process.
