26 May – 6 June 2024 | Doha, Qatar
7–13 June 2024 | Pakistan
Deadline extended!
First offered in 2022, the Future of Women in Energy Scholars Program was sponsored by the U.S.-Pakistan Women’s Council, a public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of State and Texas A&M University, that seeks to increase women’s economic participation in Pakistan by promoting women’s entrepreneurship, employment, and access to educational opportunities.
The program combines rigorous academic coursework on energy production, economy and policy, with practical immersion in the workforce. During the first two weeks, participants will engage with field experts as well as female leaders and alumnae in the energy sector. Read more about the 2022 program here and the 2023 program here, and check out scholars' projects below.
