Program Educational Objectives
The objectives of the Chemical Engineering Program at Texas A&M at Qatar are:
- Our graduates will apply the foundation, depth and breadth of knowledge for successful chemical engineering careers in industry, government and academia.
- Our graduates will apply effective communication, leadership and teaming skills.
- Our graduates will have a sense of responsibility, be ethical in the conduct of their profession, and have an appreciation for the impact of their profession on society.
The program educational objectives are periodically revisited through discussions with the Industrial Advisory Board and other program constituencies. Our goal is to continually improve the program's ability to meet these educational objectives. The chemical engineering curriculum and individual course contents are periodically evaluated and adjusted in order to further support our ability to achieve the program objectives.
