Petroleum engineering honor society holds induction ceremony
Texas A&M at Qatar's branch of the national honor society of petroleum engineering, Pi Epsilon Tau, inducted two students on 28 November. The event acquainted the new inductees on the traditions and values of the society, which include fostering a relationship between students and industry and maintaining the high ideals and standards of the engineering profession.
Pi Epsilon Tau (PiET) Honor Society of Petroleum Engineers at TAMUQ held their annual induction ceremony on Thursday 17th March, 2016. Six new members were initiated to the petroleum engineering honor society. The event was also an opportunity for the new members to get acquainted with the traditions and values of the society.
Pi Epsilon Tau is the national honor society of petroleum engineers. It is a student led organization that promotes a closer bond between its student members and industry, to broaden the scope of activities of members, and to maintain the high ideals and standards of the engineering profession. http://piet.tamu.edu/
