IELTS Overall Band		7+
TOEFLI Total		100+
ACT English		21+

Students must meet one of the above criteria to place into ENGL 104 and enroll in Liberal Arts courses.

* The only exception to the ENGL 104-ready requirement for CHEM 107/117 is for CHEN majors.

They are required to enroll in CHEN 107/117 their first semester regardless of ENGL placement.

^ Liberal Arts courses include courses listed as ANTH, COMM, ENGL, HIST, INST, POLS.

Students must meet minimum ENGL 104 placement requirements to enroll in these courses.
