New Student Orientation
Aggie Life 101: New Student Orientation marks the beginning of your time as an Aggie and is designed to help you meet your classmates and professors, learn about resources and opportunities with Texas A&M University at Qatar, and experience what it means to be an Aggie.
All new students will come together on 18-20 August 2020 to kick-off your time with Texas A&M at Qatar and participation in all days is mandatory in order to enroll with Texas A&M at Qatar for the fall semester. More information about the schedule and activities of orientation will become available throughout the summer.

Living on Campus
Living on campus is a great way to get to know fellow students, engage in student life, and get the most from your University experience. If you wish to live on campus and have not already informed Texas A&M University at Qatar, please submit your information online as soon as possible. Housing is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Arrangements can be made for transportation from the airport to Education City Student Housing. Students will be contacted early in the summer to provide their arrival information. Cultural and social activities along with opportunities to go shopping for food and other essentials are planned to assist you in getting acquainted with your new home. Health and wellness is the matter of obtaining and recording the immunizations and vaccines you have had over the years. Qatar Foundation and Texas A&M University at Qatar respectfully require that you complete the Immunization and Tuberculosis Screening Certificate. Every incoming and current student who attends a branch affiliate must submit proof of certain vaccinations/immunizations (i.e., copy of childhood or current immunization records) and/or proof of immunity (i.e., copies of the blood titer results) to their respective Counseling and Wellness staff.
This information must be compiled and confirmed by your Health Care Provider in English. If you do not have the documents in English, you may have them translated. Translations of non-English documents must be certified. This policy went into effect 1 August 2009. The required vaccinations are described in the document which is included with this letter (Immunization and Tuberculosis Screening Certificate). You are required to return the appropriate documents before you begin classes at Texas A&M at Qatar. Please submit them by 16 July 2020. You will be blocked from registering for classes until you are in complete compliance with the Qatar Foundation policy.
There are two ways you can return the information to Texas A&M at Qatar.
- Bring your form to Suite 053 in the Texas A&M Engineering Building
- Scan and email the forms/copies to email@example.com
