Research Experience for Undergraduates
The summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) is a research intensive experience for undergraduate students that pairs them with a Texas A&M at Qatar faculty member. The faculty and student partnership will have the student work on a research project determined by the faculty member for the summer session. The experience will culminate in a presentation of the student’s findings on the project.

Once you arrive in Qatar, you will undergo a fingerprint screening, and have certain medical tests as part of your Residence Permit application.
You will be tested for the following:
The issuance of a Residence Permit is contingent on the results of these tests. It is recommended that you know your status of the aforementioned prior to deciding whether to participate in the program. If you are unable to secure a Residence Permit you will need to depart Qatar.
Dual citizens must use the same passport used to apply for their visa when securing their Residence Permit.
