Alumni

WE ARE THE AGGIES, THE AGGIES ARE WE.

Texas A&M University at Qatar is a proud extension of our flagship campus in College Station, Texas. With more than 1,400 graduates from our Qatar campus, Texas A&M is expanding its  large network of Aggie around the world.

At Texas A&M at Qatar, we maintain close contact with our graduates to promote a sense of affinity and long-term camaraderie among former students. In addition to supporting former students with career-related matters, our office stays connected through regular interactions via email, live and virtual events, former student talks and visits, as well as mentorship. The annual Aggie Alumni Suhoor brings together a great number of former students from varying class years, majors, and residential cities, as some of our enthusiastic graduates travel from numerous locations in the region to attend this annual reunion. The Alumni of the Year Award, presented to one distinguished former student a year, is awarded on this night. Recipients of this award are also recognized on the Alumnus of the Year recognition panel on campus.

The Alumni Council comprises a group of former students who work with the campus community on social and educational events, recruiting efforts, and other activities that promote graduate involvement on campus. Current Council members are:

  • Alrabab Abuhelaiqa ’08
